Meet ChristaBeth Turner, LISW-CP
ChristaBeth Turner is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) serving older children, adolescents, and adults throughout South Carolina.
She believes that meaningful growth happens within safe, supportive relationships and strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence. Her approach is rooted in both compassion and accountability, helping individuals identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths.
ChristaBeth brings a decade of experience working alongside children, adolescents, families, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and complex life circumstances. Much of her professional career has been shaped through her work with Doors to Freedom, an organization committed to providing comprehensive support, advocacy, and long-term care for youth impacted by human trafficking and exploitation. Her experience there deepened her understanding of trauma-informed care, resilience, family systems, and the importance of safe, supportive relationships in fostering growth and change. She remains actively involved with Doors to Freedom through ongoing consultation and clinical support.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Drawing from evidenced-based approaches and a trauma-informed framework, ChristaBeth tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Whether a client is navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, managing anxiety, or seeking support through life’s transitions, ChristaBeth is committed to providing a space where growth, resilience, and hope can take root.
Beyond the Office
Outside of her clinical work, ChristaBeth enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, tending to her garden, and embracing the simple moments of everyday life. Whether she is homeschooling, engaging in her local bible study, exploring the charm of Summerville, or enjoying a cup of coffee, she values simple moments that create connection, accountability, and perspective.
